About this product
About the Enera PRO 150 L solar water heater
The Enera PRO is a high-pressure solar thermosiphon water heater (150 L) built around heat-pipe vacuum tubes and CPC mirror concentrators. The absorbing coating turns solar radiation into heat, and the copper heat pipe transfers it to an exchanger inside the tank — no water ever circulates through the tubes, so the system keeps working even if a tube breaks.
Its parabolic CPC concentrators capture 360° of the vacuum tube, delivering far more output than a conventional flat collector. Two operating modes prevent summer overheating and maximise winter absorption, making the PRO ideal for low-insolation regions: areas with fewer sunny days, low ambient temperatures and hard, highly-mineralised water — perfect for villas in northern Spain.
The inner tank is acid-resistant 316 stainless steel with a copper heat-exchange head and is always hermetic, withstanding 6 bar mains pressure and −40 °C frost. With polyurethane insulation it keeps water hot for up to 72 hours, and the reinforced galvanised-steel frame fits both flat and sloped roofs.
This version adds a 1500 W electric backup heater and the 619-F controller (two temperature sensors, programmable heating windows), guaranteeing hot water year-round even during long overcast spells.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work in winter and in low-sun regions?
Yes. The heat-pipe vacuum tubes and CPC concentrators are designed for low insolation, withstand frost down to −40 °C, and have a winter mode that maximises absorption — it is well suited to northern Spain.
What happens if a vacuum tube breaks?
No water circulates inside the tubes, so the system keeps working normally even with a broken tube. The tube can be replaced individually at low cost.
How long does it keep water hot without sun?
Up to 72 hours, thanks to the polyurethane-insulated 316 stainless-steel tank.
What maintenance does it need?
Replace the magnesium anode once a year (required to keep the warranty valid) and rinse the vacuum tubes every 6–12 months in hard-water or dusty areas.
Can I connect it to my existing gas or electric water heater?
Yes. The Enera PRO works as a solar pre-heater and integrates with any existing gas or electric hot-water system.
Will I have hot water on cloudy days?
Yes. This version includes a 1500 W electric backup heater and the 619-F controller, which heats the water to a set temperature on a programmable schedule — hot water year-round.
