2 kW solar kit: production, savings and payback
A 2 kW solar kit produces about 3,300 kWh of electricity a year and saves roughly €320–430 on your bill. Installed turnkey from €2,350 with legalisation included, it pays for itself in around 5.8 years and keeps producing for 25+ years.
At today's electricity prices a 2 kW system covers a large share of a typical home's consumption, for a saving of about €320–430 per year in direct self-consumption. On a turnkey price of €2,350 that is a payback of roughly 5.8 years; adding a battery raises self-consumption further and shortens it. After payback you keep more than two decades of near-free electricity.
The turnkey price has no hidden extras: it covers the solar panels, inverter, mounting structure and installation, the technical documentation, and the legalisation with the town hall and the electricity company — including the switch to a self-consumption contract. We hand it over working and registered, with no paperwork for you to chase.
A 2 kW kit suits a home using roughly 70–187 kWh per month. If your supply is three-phase, ask about the three-phase version; if your goal is full independence from the grid, look at the off-grid kits. The system can be expanded later with lithium battery storage.
About this product
2 kW solar self-consumption kit for flats and moderate consumption
This 2 kW single-phase solar kit is designed for flats, second homes and households with an annual consumption of between 2,000 and 3,500 kWh. In Spain it generates an average of around 2,800 kWh per year — enough to cover a large part of your daytime usage and cut your electricity bill from day one, with a contained, fully expandable investment.
Growatt NEO microinverter: every panel at full output
Unlike a conventional string inverter, the Growatt NEO microinverter lets each of the 4 panels produce independently. So partial shade — a tree, a chimney or the next-door building — does not penalise the rest of the array, there is no single point of failure, and you can monitor production panel by panel in real time from the app. It is the most efficient and reliable choice for small roofs or roofs with occasional shading.
4 Tensite 500 W TOPCon N-Type panels
The kit mounts 4 Tensite 500 W solar panels with latest-generation TOPCon N-Type technology: higher efficiency, better behaviour in diffuse light and at high temperatures, and excellent durability. In total, 2 kW of peak power to make the most of every hour of sunlight.
Zero export and smart self-consumption
The system always prioritises your own consumption: solar energy powers your home appliances first. With zero export you avoid feeding surplus into the grid, so you make the most of your production without having to register the sale of surplus energy. The more your consumption overlaps with sunlight hours, the greater your savings.
Add a battery whenever you want: backup with AURA
This kit is fully expandable. Whenever you need it, you can add the AURA battery — plug & play and with no building work: it stores the surplus daytime energy to use at night and gives you backup during power cuts. Start with the essentials and grow at your own pace.
Professional installation and paperwork included
The price is closed, with no surprises: it includes professional installation, the mounting structure and wiring, system legalisation and commissioning across Spain. We take care of all the paperwork for you so you can simply start saving.
Is the 2 kW solar kit right for you?
It is the ideal choice if you live in a flat or a small house, your annual consumption is around 2,000–3,500 kWh, or you simply want to take the step into solar self-consumption with a tight budget and the peace of mind of being able to expand it with more panels or a battery in the future. If your consumption is higher, take a look at our 3 kW and larger kits.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 2 kW solar kit cost installed?
From €2,350, turnkey — panels, inverter, mounting, installation and the legalisation and contract change are all included. You get a closed price up front, with no surprises on the day of installation.
How much does a 2 kW kit save per year?
About €320–430 a year in direct self-consumption at current electricity prices. Adding a battery increases the saving because you also use your own solar energy at night.
How long until it pays for itself?
Around 5.8 years at the current price and electricity tariff, after which the system keeps producing for 25+ years. Available subsidies and the IRPF deduction can shorten the payback further.
How much electricity does a 2 kW system produce?
About 3,300 kWh per year in Spain, depending on roof orientation, tilt and shading. That is the figure used for the production and savings shown on this page.
How much energy does a 2 kW solar kit produce per year?
In Spain a 2 kW kit generates around 2,800 kWh per year (between 2,400 and 3,000 kWh depending on the region and roof orientation). That covers a large part of the daytime consumption of a flat or a small house.
What kind of home is a 2 kW kit ideal for?
Flats, second homes and households with an annual consumption of 2,000 to 3,500 kWh. If your consumption is higher, we recommend a 3 kW kit or larger, also available in our shop.
What are the advantages of the Growatt NEO microinverter?
Each panel works independently, so partial shade does not penalise the whole system. There is no single point of failure and you can check each panel’s production from the app.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. The kit is expandable with the AURA battery — plug & play and with no building work: it stores the surplus daytime energy and gives you backup during power cuts.
Is installation included in the price?
Yes. The price is closed and includes professional installation, system legalisation and commissioning across Spain, with no hidden costs.
How much can I save with a 2 kW solar kit?
Savings depend on how much energy you use during daylight hours (self-consumption). The higher that self-consumption, the more your electricity bill drops.
