We checked Salou's current IBI tax ordinance in full: it grants a bonification of between 2% and 50% of the IBI quota for three consecutive years, graduated by cadastral value — 50% only applies up to €100,000, then the rate steps down to 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%, 5% and 2% above €5,000,000. On this coast most villas' cadastral values fall above the lowest tier, so the 50% headline is rarely the rate a homeowner actually receives — Enera checks your property's cadastral value before quoting a figure. Installed electrical power must also be at least 30% of contracted power, and the application must come within six months of Generalitat legalisation. We didn't find a solar clause in Salou's ICIO ordinance, so we don't quote one.
